Silk Noil

Noil is a by-product of the factory carding process that leaves short bits of fiber behind. It is great for artists! Mix in with your hand made paper for texture, blend in with your wools to create beautiful tweed effects in your yarns. Perfect for adding texture to wet or needle felting. Even mix in to your hand made soaps!  Easy to stitch over when felted. Easy to dye.

Mulberry Silk is also known as Bombyx silk or Cultivated Silk. The best quality silk you can buy. It is produced from the silk worms of the Bombyx Mori Moth. Their diet consists of Mulberry leaves. Mulberry silk is produced in a controlled warm environment.
